Beagle
The beagle is a breed of small hound that is similar in appearance to the much larger foxhound. The beagle is a scent hound, developed primarily for hunting hare.
Life expectancy: 12 – 15 years
Weight: Male: 22–24 lbs (10–11 kg), Female: 20–22 lbs (9–10 kg)
Temperament: Determined, Intelligent, Even Tempered, Amiable, Excitable, Gentle
Height: Male: 14–16 inches (36–41 cm), Female: 13–15 inches (33–38 cm)
